new family session
We had the opportunity to shoot Justin's cousin and her gorgeous family last month. Marrying into the family, it was really fun for me to get to see these guys interact, and play with their littles in a way I hadn't seen before. Make sure you check the whole shoot out here! I just love this pic. I feel like it personifies their relationship perfectly.

the cutest surprise...
So Justin's cousin & our good friends Jeff & Emilee are expecting, and we couldn't be more thrilled and excited for them!
We snapped these pictures last weekend for them to use when they broke the news, and I can't get over how adorable they are. It was amazing to be a part their excitement, and such a fun shoot to do & edit!
Can't wait to meet the little one next year!

box it up.
We sat Jasper this box yesterday in hopes that it might keep him contained long enough for us to get some cleaning don.
He loved it. My child, that never sits still, sat in that box and played with his little toys.
There must be something to the saying that kids will love the box their toys came in more than the toy itself. I never would have thought of using a box as a photo prop, but he was just being so adorable, I had to grab the camera and snap a few pictures. I can't get over how creamy and delicious they turned out.
Love this little crazy guy.

we have beautiful friends who sometime let us take their pictures.
And then they move. And you realize that they've changed you. They've changed the way you look at things.
Like bunnies, peonies, or pagan holidays.
And you feel just a little bit robbed. Robbed that they moved away, and that you didn't notice the changes while they were here.
But they have been here. They've done their work, and now you'll never be able to listen to a George Michael song the same way again.
Brad and Julie, we love you. We miss you. The people of Mississippi are lucky have you. Watching & being a part of your journey has been the pleasure of a lifetime.
