greens.

Shirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs via eBay $17
Belt: Vintage Leather via eBay
Pinstripe Pants: Express via eBay: $11
Shoes: Clarks Indigo leather criss-cross pumps via eBay $22
This is the latest from the "professional" outfits I have been sporting lately. Everything from this outfit is from eBay! Except my grandma earrings, which are from an Anthropologie sale. I love these earrings so much. Seriously. Clark shoes by the way are amazing! Seriously! I've said it before, but these are the only heels that I can wear comfortably all day!

So today when Justin got home, we were feeling like we wanted a bit of a treat. So I gave him the 3 dollars left in my wallet and set him the task of going to the grocery store to get us dinner or a treat, his pick (don’t worry, I wasn’t being mean, Justin sometimes likes going to the store without me, keeps it from turning into a 30 minute event as I am a notoriously long shopper, even with 3 dollars).

So eight minutes, thirty seconds later, he gets home with two Totino’s pizzas. For those of you unfamiliar with Totino goodness, they are basically glorified cardboard. The fact that he got two of them for three dollars should kind of give that away. The sad thing is, that if I had gone to the store, I probably would have gotten the same exact thing. Why are they so good?!? WHY?!?

So now I have a lovely stomach ache, but no remorse. I downed those babies, and I would do it again. And most likely will do it again. Soon.

So please people, eat some greens tonight. Someone in the world needs to!

jam hands.

Dress: Chiffon flutter sleeve via eBay $8
I love Sundays. They are so lovely and relaxing and give me time to do thing that I don’t normally have time to do, like make jam for my pb&j loving better half. (insert compliment for my amazing homemaking skills here).

Seriously though, justin is a jam loving fool. He eats on average at least one pb&j a day, if not more, and I can always tell when he’s had one, because he leaves behind a clear evidence trail…crumbs crossing two cabinets, and jam covered cupboard and drawer handles. Seriously. He is just like a little kid! He gets so excited about his pb&j that he doesn’t take time to wash the sticky off his hands. It actually kind of endearing (most of the time). I love that I married a man who still gets excited about silly things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Between that and my obsessive love for coco puffs, our kids are sure to never eat a healthy meal a day in their lives!

I bought this dress on eBay a long long time ago, for 5 bucks, plus 3 dollar shipping. Oh how I love great deals. I was also wearing these adorable giraffe print flats, but we didn't get a good picture of them, so you'll just have to use your imagination!

Hope you all had a lovely Sunday!

looks like jam has done him good though doesn't it? :)

our house, in the middle of our street.

Ralf Lauren striped blazer (via eBay), Boutique vest (via eBay), Banana Republic button up (via eBay),
Rock and Republic jeans (via eBay), Clarks Indigo shoes (via eBay), Anthropologie Pearls (you guessed it, via eBay)

I sometimes whine that our house doesn't get much light (we live in a triplex shaped like an L and we are in the corner, so the other two apartments tend to block our windows) but we have the most gorgeous tree outside our window (plus our house has the nice carpet) so I really shouldn't complain. Slash, we have great neighbors, and we live literally, thirty seconds away from Apollo burger, ten seconds in the car. And Apollo burger has the MOST delicious onion rings and fries. The kind that are so perfectly crispy that you feel sick afterwards. Mmmm. So good. And they have somehow mastered the art of fry sauce composition (the fact that I can compare fry sauce composition, or that I even eat fry sauce at all only goes to show that I have been in Utah for MUCH too long).

Anyways, it so happens that many nights, when Justin and I get home and are messing around in the front yard, or taking pictures by the brick wall dumpster across from our house (yes, I am standing in front of a dumpster in these pictures. So there.), the delicious smells of the Apollo burger waft over us, their alluring, hypnotic attraction, pulling us into that delicious world of deep-fried wonder.

Such was the case yesterday, and may I just recommend the Western Bacon Burger with the onion rings? Yes that is right, we got the Burger that has onion rings on it, then washed it down with a side of onion rings. Don’t judge me. I dare you to resist (it has the natural, thick cut bacon on it! So good!) Anyways, I was not planning on creating an entire post about a burger joint, but there you go.  I guess I should have taken some pictures. Instead, you will have to settle for some lovely pictures of me in front of a dumpster you didn't know was a dumpster. I know, you will never be able to look at me the same. I accept that.

Ps. If you are still reading, I commend you. A little bit about the outfit I’m wearing here: Every single last piece is from eBay, including my shoes, which by the way are the most comfortable heels ever found on this good green earth of ours. The cost of the entire outfit was: 51 bucks. Ralf Lauren striped blazer, boutique black vest, hot pink Banana Republic blouse, Rock and Republic Jeans, Anthropologie pearls, and Clarks Indigo criss-cross pumps. Boo ya.

Pps or pss (not sure which is right) can you tell that I’m really laughing in the last picture? My nostrils always flare when I’m having a hearty laugh. A dead giveaway. And the last pic is one of justin right infront of said Apollo burger. Why is he so much sexier than me? i'm just lucky I guess.
